Novato has its own Indian restaurant: Anokha Cuisine of India.

Like its name, Anokha offers a unique experience

Paul Surinder Sroa, owner of the award-winning Lotus Cuisine in San Rafael and a partner in Café Lotus in Fairfax, has been a resident of Novato since 1987.

Paul is giving his Anokha Cuisine restaurant special attention because he considers Novato to be his local community.

Anokha Cuisine features the warm, full flavors of contemporary Indian cuisine, prepared from personally selected, locally grown, and organic products when available.

Fresh spices, many imported directly from India, are specially blended at the restaurant.
