Zagat Reviews
It goes without saying that the food is amazing, as it is at Lotus in San Rafael. Also, the service is extraordinary. Whenever I felt that my water was running low, it was refilled promptly. I will definatly be back!
The best Indian food ever
By far, may favorite restaurant in Novato, and it’s some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. They have nice service, good-sized portions, and a fantastic atmosphere.

This naan had red onions liberally mixed into it and fresh chopped greens adorning the outside. It was wonderful. The service was perfect, every time I was ready to have dishes removed

Marin Independent Journal Dining review:
Like its name, Anokha offers a unique experience
Dining at Novato’s new Anokha is like being a guest in owner Surinder Sroa’s own home. Anokha, which translates roughly to “unique” or “original,” finally opened June 2 after almost nine months of permitting issues.
Dining with Danielle – Anokha Cuisine of India
Indian food is one of those categories of deliciousness that I just can’t live without. I can’t be friends with someone, or date someone who doesn’t like Indian food as much as me because I’ll just leave them at home when I get a hankering for it, which is often.
Anna’s Cool Finds
As I walked in the entrance of the new Indian restaurant in Novato, Anokha, I was greeted by the scent of roses. I looked around for the source, but didn’t see any roses.
Pacific Sun review: Korma chameleon
Novato hasn’t had an Indian restaurant since the early 1990s when an unassuming little curry house located in the commercial space at Grant and Reichert closed its doors due to the town’s “atta” apathy and lentil lethargy.
